Such a heart renching picture. I am such a softie that anything like this makes me very emotional! The children in school nowadays don't get taught about these times, it's disgraceful!!! We try and teach our children about this time in history as we think it is so important! They don't know how lucky they are. We owe it to the men and women who died. Thank you CW for the reality check, so easy to forget how lucky we are! x x x
Welcome to the first blog of CW. This is a blog chronicling the development and shooting of the feature film, The Glass House. It's a film about the Jewish resistence in Hungary during the Nazi occupation, in 1944. We are currently shooting in Romania, where I will be for 2 months. I will give details about the insanity and fun that goes into making this feature. So much has already happened, much you would never believe, that I will try to weave within the subsequent new developments. I will do my best to upload photos and unfolding events as best as I can, given the schedule I'm on. I hope you have fun!
This pictures stirs so many emotions. It is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful picture, but it does make the subject of the film all the more moving and awful somehow?
